Are you a fan of jazz? Do you like free things? This upcoming Memorial Day weekend from May 27th through May 29th, one of the nation’s largest free jazz concerts will be happening. The Atlanta Jazz Festival happens once a year and showcases everything from classic jazz artists to newcomers to the genre, with over thirty artists performing over the course of the festival’s three-day-long weekend in Piedmont Park.

On Friday there will be two acts on the Main Stage starting at 7:00pm, but Saturday follows up Friday’s performances with 17 different artists starting at 12:30pm and scattered across the Main Stage, Park Tavern, International Stage, and Locals Stage. The Main Stage will even feature three different DJs after the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble 9:00pm performance for a late-night party in the park. Sunday rounds out the weekend with 13 artists performing on the Main, International, and Locals stages, beginning at 12:30pm and with the last performance beginning at 9.
The festival will also accommodate visitors through the Loews Atlanta Hotel, which is offering concert attendees special rates for the weekend. You will also find an Artist’s Market onsite at the park with local artists offering their goods for display and sale, in addition to concessions stalls selling food and beverages. Some vendors will even offer cuisine such as Caribbean food!
So make sure to mark your calendars for the Atlanta Jazz Festival this Memorial Day Weekend.
